The kid attractor factor: This rom-com appeals to older audiences, but maybe some appeal for teens.

Good lessons/bad lessons: Book the flight, take the trip and be open to what the universe brings your way.

Violence: A scene of fist-fighting.

Language: Some strong language.

Sex: References to sex.

Drugs: None

Parents’ advisory: Fine for older kids and teens.

'HAMLET'

Rated R for some bloody violence, suicide, brief drug use and language.

What it’s about: The Shakespeare play adapted to a modern setting — the young scion of a powerful family returns home after his father's death to find his uncle is marrying his mother. He spirals out of control.

The kid attractor factor: This is more of an adult piece. Not much appeal for kids.

Good lessons/bad lessons: Families are complicated.

Violence: Some extreme bloody violence and murder.

Language: Some strong language.

Sex: None

Drugs: Onscreen cocaine use.

Parents’ advisory: A bit too advanced for kids. This is adults only.
